As an expanding non-profit organisation we are always looking for the right people to help us, help others. Our team is the back-bone of what we do and because of that we aim to create a friendly and flexible environment, which breeds positivity. 

In 2018 we helped approximately 1899 people and ran over 1075 wellbeing sessions. Furthermore, we also operate our wellness shop the, HAPPY Hub, seven days a week offering everything from drop-in support to the sales of wellness merchandise. Due to our growing needs we are always on the look out for people who are passionate about people. Volunteer Fundraiser

About this opportunity

We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Volunteer. As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will need to link with funders, submit applications, source donations from trusts / businesses. As well as, work with our existing partners on new opportunities and finalise end data.

Our small, friendly, team are looking for someone who is reliable, dedicated and confident organising events, raffles, contacting local businesses for support. You would also need to be computer literate to enable online funding submissions. Training will be given, but if you can hit the ground running we would be truly grateful.

You would be required one day a week to liaise with the team, discuss progress and gain a feel for our business ethos. Hours are negotiable.

About you

You’ll have a passion for positive change and the work that we do, as well as the enthusiasm to represent both us and our values locally. You will understand the needs of people affected by ill mental health and be sympathetic to the needs and motivations of our volunteers and customers. You’ll be a good organiser with plenty of creative ideas, preferably with fundraising, sales or event management experience.

Volunteer Assistant Shop Manager 

About the opportunity

We are looking to recruit a volunteer Assistant Shop Manager on a part-time basis. We are open 7 days a week and you will choose the hours that best suit you. As an assistant you will help in the monitoring of stock, team rota and induction training. 

Our small, friendly team is looking for someone reliable, dedicated and approachable, with strong organisation skills. Communication skills is a must as this is a customer facing role. Computer literate is a bonus as our stock system is online, as is ordering new merchandise. Training will be given, but if you can hit the ground running it would be advantageous.
